June 2026 America’s 250th Birthday Coming Soon!
On July 4th, 2026, the United States will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence! This anniversary is an opportunity for communities across the country to reflect on our nation’s history, honor the people and places that shaped it, and look ahead to the future we are building together.
It is such a wonderful sight as you ride through Sharon to see the flags and other patriotic decorations displayed on homes and yards of our community. South Carolina played a significant role in the American Revolution, and the 250th anniversary offers a special opportunity to learn more about our state’s Revolutionary history, celebrate local heritage, and strengthen civic pride.
So Sharon, lets make this 4th of July memorable by counting our blessings and truly appreciating our freedom!
