Emergency Services
In the event of a police, fire or medical emergency, the number to call is 9-1-1. York County Public Safety Communications will then dispatch the appropriate personnel for your emergency. If you have a non-emergency please call 803-628-3056.
~ Piedmont Medical Center EMS responds to medical emergencies.
~ Sharon Volunteer Fire Department responds to fire calls in and around the Town of Sharon, they also assist EMS as needed in our vicinity. Sharon Fire Department has 2 stations, one on York Street in Sharon and the other on Hord Road, which is considered York but our fire district overlaps into York. The main station on York St has 5 bays, houses 6 apparatus, and a rescue station for EMS. Station 2 has 3 apparatus.
